Emma C. Henry
Emma C. Henry is an Attorney in the Entertainment and Intellectual Property Section of King & Ballow in Nashville, Tennessee.
Emma received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Drake University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law.
While in law school, Emma served as a class representative and Social Chair for Iowa Law’s Student Bar Association. She also served as a law school delegate for the University of Iowa’s Graduate and Professional Student Government. Emma also participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition and placed third at the Dallas regional competition.
Before working at King & Ballow, Emma interned at Iowa Legal Aid and Metro Arts Alliance in Des Moines, Iowa. She also interned at SESAC and the Arts and Business Council of Greater Nashville’s Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts in Nashville, TN, where she gained experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering various agreements, including licensing and artist agreements. After graduating from Iowa Law, Emma worked at Leff Law Firm, L.L.P. in Iowa City, Iowa, where she practiced civil litigation.
