Larry D. Crabtree

Larry Crabtree is a former partner of the firm and now serves in an of counsel role with King & Ballow.

Mr. Crabtree received his undergraduate education from Tennessee Technological University and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Crabtree has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Employee Benefits Law. He has been a speaker at the continuing professional education seminars for CPAs and accountants sponsored by the American Institute of Tax Return Preparers and at the University of Tennessee Federal Tax Conference. Mr. Crabtree has served as an expert witness in both federal and state courts on matters related to employee pension benefits. He has also testified at hearings before the Oversight Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee on the subject of ERISA administration and enforcement.

Mr. Crabtree has been licensed as a registered Securities Representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers and is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. He is a member of the Tax Sections of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Nashville Tax Bar and the Estate Planning Council of Nashville. Mr. Crabtree’s practice areas include Corporate and Individual Taxation, Business Law, Estate Planning, Pension Law and ERISA.
